business “Airlie Waterfront B&B” was established in 1999 as the
first licenced B&B in AirlieBeach. Since then it has enjoyed enormous success
with 6 Whitsunday and 5 Queensland Tourism Awards under its belt including a
place in the Whitsunday Tourism Hall
of Fame.
The business has achieved an average occupancy rate of 90% over the last 6 years
and currently achieves an average rate of $270 per night for each of the three
apartments,
which is above average when compared to statistics for the region.The accommodation
offers a romantic and/or relaxed B&B experience with private
spas, private apartment style, a fantastic location and views, so meets a niche
market and
continues to outstrip competition with this uniqueness.
Catering largely to couples and in particular the Honeymoon market, the quality
of guest ensures a hassle free environment and atmosphere!
Occupying half of the home with a Spa Suite, 1 Bedroom Spa Apartment and a
2 Bedroom Apartment, up to 10 guests can be accommodated in beautiful and private
comfort.
Breakfast provisions are provided in the room each day for the guests to prepare
and take
at their leisure so no preparation is required by the owner.
Private entry and separate living areas for each B&B apartment provides
both the owner and guest privacy and space. The owner looks after email
and phone enquiries on a daily basis (can be done
remotely) and at present one housekeeper looks after the cleaning, laundry and breakfast provisions
each day to the apartments. One person could operate the B&B if they wished.
A phone at the front door allows guests to call and check in or out when the
owner is absent,
giving the owner flexibity and independence.
